Findlay First Edition

Now in its twenty-fifth season, this award-winning show choir has continuously entertained audiences with its distinctive style of performing.  FFE has claimed over 60 Grand Championships and 17 national awards in 12 states and 2 countries, including a two-time SHOWSTOPPERS Grand Champion, the 2004 FAME Show Choir Cup, and the 2007 FAME New York Grand Champion.  This year, FFE will travel to Ada Music Feast, the Piqua Invitational, Fort Wayne Northrop, the Teays Valley Classic, the Huntington North MidWest Showcase, and New York City for the FAME New York competition.

Accompanying the group is the instrumental ensemble known as “The Boingers.”  “The Boingers” supply an energizing background to the 42-member show choir, and have also won over 50 caption awards for Best Instrumental Combo.

The First Edition has made six appearances at the Ohio Music Education Association’s annual professional conference.  They have also presented performances and clinics for the Ohio Choral Director’s Association, Pennsylvania Music Education Associations, and the American Choral Directors Association.

The members of First Edition are involved in many other activites at Findlay High School, and maintain a group grade point average of 3.5.
